Jumping To Heights – Becoming Nodoka Okisawa
Rising conductor Nodoka Okisawa entered the limelight when she won the grand prize at an international competition held in France in 2019. Okisawa was a scholarship student at the Karajan Academy associated with the Berlin Philharmonic and had worked as an assistant to the orchestra’s chief conductor Kirill Petrenko. She ended her role of assistant at a concert held on May 7, 2022 and moved on to the world stage. A documentary focusing on Okisawa, who was trained in Berlin and is about to take a step forward as a conductor, will be offered with the performance of the Linz Symphony by Mozart.
