Soran Bushi (Introduced In "Minyo Damashii” From Yame City In Fukuoka Prefecture)

The program “Minyo Damashii” is known to shed new light on the traditional songs of Japan. “Soran Bushi,” performed by Maïa Barouh, who is active in France as a singer-songwriter, drew attention when it was used to accompany an ice dance performance of the pair Kana Muramoto and Daisuke Takahashi. A special version was created for the program featuring the three-stringed Tsugaru-jamisen, Japanese taiko drum and accordion.
