Argerich And Friends In Tokyo

Martha Argerich gained international prominence as a pianist by winning the International Chopin Piano Competition in 1965. Despite being over 80, she continues to perform actively on the global stage. During the concert, subtitled “Homage to Ivry Gitlis,” Argerich, who maintained a close friendship with the violin virtuoso who passed in 2020, and Japanese violinist Ayana Tsuji and pianist Akane Sakai present pieces associated with Gitlis.
