The Great American Symphony and a sensational find from 1897. The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra's Chief Conductor Designate Ryan Bancroft conducts Symphony No. 3 by Aaron Copland and Peter Friis Johansson is the soloist in Laura Netzel’s Piano Concerto. Netzel was one of Sweden's most successful composers internationally, and broke new ground with the piano concerto, however the score was missing for many years. Here is now a sumptuous, sometimes breathtakingly beautiful and masterful piano concerto to discover and enjoy. More about the story in the intermission conversation!
