Teodor Currentzis: Utopia

Utopia is the new international project of the conductor Teodor Currentzis. The orchestra seeks to bring together the best musicians from all around the world. 116 musicians from 30 countries (among them Ukraine and Russia) are part of this special project. This concert recording presents Utopia’s debut tour programme with fantastic interpretations of Stravinsky's "Firebird" suite and Maurice Ravel's "Daphnis et Chloé" suite, his choreographic poem "La Valse" and the immortal "Bolero" (encore). Recorded at the Wiener Konzerthaus.
