The BRSO With Lisa Batiashvili And Jakub Hrůša

Lisa Batiashvili is the soloist with the BRSO at the Munich Isarphilharmonie in a concert conducted by Jakub Hrůša. She will play the Sibelius Violin Concerto, a highlight of the core violin repertoire. More of a hidden gem are the symphonic peaces of the evening: Bohuslav Martinů's Symphony No. 1 and "Les fresques de Piero della Francesca". The latter piece was dedicated to Rafael Kubelík, the BRSO's long-standing chief conductor from 1961.
