Walter Braunfels – The Birds

Tired of the gloom of everyday life, Fidèlami and Bonespoir set off in search of the kingdom of birds. They meet King Huppe, who rules over the colourful world of birds. Learning that the sky does not belong to the birds, Fidèlami urges them to take power, convincing them to build a fortress-city in the clouds, to intercept the fumes of the sacrifices thanks to which the men feed the gods. Forced by famine, they will have to bow to the birds! But beware of the promises of a happy tomorrow: the awakening could be brutal.
