Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra & The 16th International Tchaikovsky Competition Laureates

The Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra brings together unique talents within the framework of the largest project seeking to develop and foster orchestral culture. One hundred young performers from twenty regions of Russia were enrolled into the National Youth Orchestra Academy. Anastasia Kobekina, one of the most promising talents of her generation, had her debut at the age of six, since then she performed already with many renowned orchestras. Alexey Melnikov has performed at numerous national and international youth music competitions. In June 2019, both musicians won the 3rd Prizes and Bronze Medals in their nomination at the 16th International Tchaikovsky Competition.
