Marc Coppey: Concert In Palais Buqoy In Prague

One of today's leading cellists, Marc Coppey, and the PKF – Prague Philharmonia which belongs to the best Czech orchestras with an international reputation, perform a chamber music concert in Palais Buquoy, one of the gems of Baroque architecture in the heart of the Lesser Town in Prague. This year's concert features works by Mozart, Dvořák, Saint-Saëns, Ravel and Fauré and offers a glimpse into the otherwise inaccessible Palais Buquoy, since 1919 the seat of the French Embassy in Prague. Its cultural history is full of highlights, as for instance, that Maurice Ravel and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart themselves performed directly in the palace´s Music Salon.
